Workshop: DREAMFIRE by Anneli Holmström Joakim Finholm

The workshop is being held at Platform (Kirkkopuistikko 20D, Vasa) and draws its inspiration from Holmströms latest project Dreamfire - an artwork about a women on a deserted planet who communicates with weather phenomenon. Drawing upon the projects themes we will work together to exploring weather as a bodily force that is physically and psychically 'felt'. Working with drawing, sound, costume and ritualistic gesture we will work in groups to produce one off performances that we will share with one another. In these dark autumn nights, we welcome you to tend a space of weathering and dreaming.

Anneli Holmström and Joakim Finholm have worked together on several projects over the years both as collegues at Novia University of Applied sciences, cultural producers, co-artistic collaborators and films.
