In the orchestra’s Christmas concerts for the whole family at Alma Institute, two works celebrating the magic of Christmas Eve are brought together. The British animated film The Snowman has earned its status as a classic not only because of its story but also thanks to the uplifting music composed by Howard Blake. Meanwhile, The Nutcracker by Pyotr Tchaikovsky transports audiences into a world where Christmas toys come to life. Alongside The Snowman film, advanced ballet students from TaiKon will perform some of the most unforgettable scenes from The Nutcracker. Let Christmas begin!
