musik, mardrömmar" is an electro-acoustic noise project comprising Rickard Eklund (vocals, loop machine, synth), Stefan Backas (noise, field recordings) and Benny Ojala (bass, guitar).

Through field recordings, lyrics, synthesised sounds and bass guitar, they create soundscapes that exist in the borderland between everyday life and dreams. The band takes its cue from a contemporary world that many experience as absurd and bottomless, and hopes, through art, to create a diversion that leads to hope and confidence.

In addition to newly written material, the band will also perform some of Rickard Eklund’s best-known songs – such as ‘Finland’, ‘Sömntåg’ and ‘SS Arcturus’ – in completely new interpretations.

Before the music performance, we are organising an experimental painting and sound workshop with Michele Uccheddu. The workshop will take place from 4pm to 6pm in English and costs €5.
