Artist talk: Dragos Alexandrescu - art practice and context

Dragos Alexandrescu's works are on display at the Lay Of(f) the Land exhibition, which is currently being held at the Ostrobothnian Museum.

Now is your chance to get an overview of Alexandrescu's work and meet the artist himself. He will hold an artist talk in the Ostrobothnian Museum auditorium on Saturday, March 28, at 2 p.m. The presentation will be in English.

The artist talk will provide a chronological overview of the last thirty years of his artistic practice and explore themes such as cultural identity, migration, the socioeconomic and environmental challenges that our society has faced and continues to face today. Covering photography, video, and painting installations, the presentation will focus on the contexts in which his ideas developed conceptually and the creative processes behind his artworks.

The event is inclueded in the museum entrence fee.
