Food 2.0 Programme: A Platform for Research, Development and Innovation
Veera Virtanen, Ecosystem Lead for the Valio Food 2.0 program, will present their ecosystem and the work that they do to create opportunities for businesses and organizations. With a focus on actors connected to the food industry, as well as connected industries, Food 2.0 creates a research, development, and innovation (R&D&I) platform that supports the development of the future food system. She will tell us more about the ecosystem's themes and the value it can offer to businesses and organizations that prioritize development and innovation.
The speech will be delivered in English.
Education in Food Product Development
Johanna Ilvoranta, Lead Teacher for the educational program Product development within the food sector at Yrkesakademin i Österbotten, will present more information about the education program and the opportunities it provides for individuals who are, or will become, entrepreneurs within the food sector. The partial degree program gives the participants the opportunity to receive an individualized education with competence units that are adapted to the participants’ own needs. Johanna will tell us more about the main qualification units within the program and the structure of the program.
