Hot Club de Jakobstad will host two Christmas concerts this year together with the fabulous singer Matilda Svenfelt.
Hot Club de Jakobstad is a Gypsy Jazz ensemble based in Jakobstad, Ostrobothnia. Inspired by the swinging tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, the group blends virtuosity with a warm acoustic sound. The quartet features Mikael Fröjdö on violin, Joel Svenfelt and Peki Jansson on guitars, and Rufus Malén on double bass. Together they bring vibrant, rhythm-driven jazz to stages around the region, celebrating both classic repertoire and their own musical expression.
